Lagrange supports the Association Amour Sans Frontière

Amour Sans Frontière is a French NGO (non-profit organization, 1901 law) founded in 1972. This association is inspired by the principles of mutual aid and fraternity promoted by Mother Teresa.

Amour Sans Frontière in a few words...

Recognized as a humanitarian public interest organization, Amour Sans Frontière carries out humanitarian actions in Africa, particularly in Togo, Benin, Niger, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Burkina Faso, as well as in France.

In Africa, this association works in the fields of health, education, training, vocational skills, and the purchase of equipment.

In France, Amour Sans Frontière participates in professional reintegration, in partnership with AJD Maurice Gounon.

Lagrange's Commitment

Lagrange and Amour Sans Frontière are connected by strong regional ties in the Rhône-Alpes region, as well as by family links, as Amour Sans Frontière is currently chaired by Charles Lagrange, the brother of Philippe Lagrange, the leader of our company.

It is therefore only natural that we wish to get involved and raise visibility for the region's leading NGO for their various actions and the large amount of equipment sent to Sub-Saharan Africa.

Our new project for 2024 and 2025

An observation

Sambilougou, located in the Savanes region in northern Togo, is a village with approximately 1,538 inhabitants. The vast majority of the population consists of children, young adults, and women.

This village is very poor and has no access to drinking water. It currently has two very old wells, but these often run dry as soon as the dry season arrives, and the water drawn from them is unsafe for consumption. The only other option is the riverbed, where people dig holes, but the water here is often dirty or contaminated by chemicals and waste.

A project

Amour Sans Frontière aims to provide the population of this village with access to clean drinking water by installing a hand-pump borehole. This borehole will provide quality water nearby, saving women and children from having to walk up to 7 km to fetch water from other villages.

The construction of this borehole is an urgent need, and Amour Sans Frontière will begin work as soon as financial resources are available, which is approximately 8,000 EUR (cost of the manual pump borehole).

Help us make this project a reality.
