Double Chocolate Waffles

Ingredients

Waffle Batter: dark chocolate

  • 250 g butter, melted
  • 55 g of pure cocoa powder
  • 300 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 260 g flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Waffle Batter: white chocolate

  • 40 g butter
  • 125 g flour
  • 25 g of powdered sugar
  • 25 cl of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 100 g white chocolate

Preparation

Dark chocolate batter:

Mix melted butter and cocoa.
Add sugar and eggs, then the flour, milk and vanilla. You can also add chocolate chips, never enough chocolate!

White chocolate batter:

Beat the eggs together, add the milk and flour with baking powder and mix well. Add the sugar and melted butter.

Grate the white chocolate into the mixture.

Create a grid on the waffle maker or just a waffle 50/50 (a half of dark chocolate, half white chocolate, or - easier - both
chocolates mixed like a marble cake.

Serve with vanilla ice cream.
