My yogurt maker is beeping, how do I stop it?

When the yogurt cycle ends, the machine beeps every 3 seconds until you press the "start / stop" button. This signal allows you to not forget to put your yogurt in the fridge.

What is the programming function?

The program helps manage the yogurt cooking time : it takes 8 to 10 hours to prepare yogurt with whole milk, 10 to 12 hours for yogurt semi-skimmed milk and 12 to 14 hours with skimmed milk.

Are the yogurt containers dishwasher safe?

Yes, the containers can go in the dishwasher, but without the lids. The lids must be washed by hand to avoid yellowing or malformation, and to ensure that the sticker doesn't wash off.

I want my yogurt to be firmer, how can I do that?

For firmer yogurt, increase the cooking time, or add 5 teaspoons of powdered milk to your mixture. We recommend using whole milk which ensures a creamy smooth texture.

How can I make yogurt with almond milk, breast milk, etc?

We test our machine with "standard" milk, normally found in supermarkets (cow, goat and soy milk) If you wish to use different kinds of milk, we suggest you do your own experimenting.

The yogurt is too watery, why is this?

If you use partially-skimmed or skimmed milk, this can give a watery texture to your yogurt.

The fermentation cycle could have been too short and the yogurt has not properly cooked.

Perhaps the active cultures are no longer active, or not enough was added to the mixture.

If the yogurt maker was opened, jostled or moved during the coking process, this can also have an impact on the texture of the yogurt.

What type of plastic is used for this appliance?

The cover of the yogurt maker is made of SAN, which is a food-safe material. Heated to 45°, it presents no health risks.

How do I know when the mixture is ready?

Can I use an extension cord?
