Pistachio-stuffed waffles

Ingredients
Waffle batter:
- 250 g flour
- 10 g baking powder
- 40 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 50 cl milk
- 100 g melted butter
- 1 pinch of salt
Filling:
- Pistachio paste
- Roasted pistachios
- Dark chocolate chips
- Pistachio powder
Preparation
1. Waffle batter preparation:
- In a blender, add all the waffle batter ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, eggs, milk, melted butter, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix at maximum speed until you get a smooth and fluid batter.
- Let the batter rest for 1 hour at room temperature.
2. Preheating the waffle maker:
- Preheat your Premium Gaufres® with the stuffed waffle plates.
3. First cooking:
- Once the waffle maker is hot, pour a thin layer of batter on the plates.
- Let cook for 1 minute so the base starts to form.
4. Adding the filling:
- Add a generous spoonful of pistachio paste.
- Sprinkle with dark chocolate chips, roasted pistachios, and a pinch of pistachio powder.
5. Finishing:
- Cover the filling with a new layer of waffle batter.
- Close the waffle maker and turn it over.
- Cook for 4 minutes until the waffles are golden brown and well cooked.
6. Finishing and decoration:
- Place the waffles on a wire rack to prevent them from getting soft.
- Repeat the process until all the batter is used.
- Decorate the waffles with a drizzle of pistachio paste and lightly dust them with pistachio powder.
7. Tasting:
- Serve immediately and enjoy without moderation!
Tip:
- For an extra touch of indulgence, add some roasted pistachio pieces as decoration just before serving.
- You can also serve these waffles with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or homemade whipped cream.
