Indulge in the creaminess of chocolate ice cream! A melting delight that will enchant chocolate lovers with its rich and intense flavor. Perfect for sunny days or as a sweet treat any time.

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 1⁄2 L whole milk
  • 50 ml liquid cream
  • 5 egg yolks 110 g sugar
  • 140 g dark chocolate (61%) 

Preparation

In a saucepan, melt the chocolate with 10 cl of water.

In another saucepan, mix the milk and cream and bring to a boil. Remove the milk and cream mixture from heat and strain.

In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar.

Gradually add the milk and cream mixture to the egg and sugar mixture while whisking. Then add the melted chocolate.

Pour into the saucepan and cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the foam disappears and the mixture coats the spoon.

Pour into a cold bowl to stop the cooking process.

Let the mixture cool in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before churning it in the ice cream maker.
