Homemade mayonnaise

The homemade mayonnaise, creamy and full of flavor! Easy to prepare, it adds a fresh touch to your dishes and perfectly accompanies your fries, salads or sandwiches. A classic that makes all the difference!

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 glasses of oil
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar (optional)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Add the egg yolk, mustard, vinegar, water and a little oil to the bowl.

Blend for 5 seconds. Pour in the oil, not through the oil spout, but by opening the lid to add a larger volume of oil.

Blend for 10 seconds with about one-third of the oil, and repeat this operation 3 times until the mayonnaise has thickened.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate.

 

TIPS AND TRICKS 

The mayonnaise has a shelf life of 24 hours at +4°C.
