- 1 large turkey (2.5 to 3kg)
- 200 g white bread
- 150 g jarred chestnuts
- 350 g sausage meat
- 15 cl milk
- 50 g butter
- 2 shallots and 2 garlic cloves
- Fresh thyme and bay leaf sprigs
- 1 stock cube
- 1 tablespoon cognac
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper

The Christmas festivities are approaching and the great classics never go out of style! It's always possible to revisit recipes to make them easier, faster and more delicious. Discover this recipe for chestnut-stuffed turkey made with a blender.
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare the stuffing:
Soak the bread in milk and finely chop the shallots and garlic cloves. Sauté them in a pan with a little oil or butter along with the sausage meat and roughly chopped chestnuts. Place all the preparation along with the cognac, salt and pepper in the blender and mix all ingredients (a few seconds are enough, you can keep some texture).
2. Insert the blended stuffing into the turkey and sew up the opening with a butcher's needle and kitchen twine.
3. Place the bay leaf, thyme, and broth in the bottom of a dish, then place the turkey that you have oiled
4. Place the turkey in the cold oven then set to 375°F (adjust according to your oven's power) for at least 2.5 hours, basting regularly with the broth.
