Prepared with cooked beets, beetroot puree, with a beautiful bright pink color like raspberry, is both sweet and creamy. It serves as a colorful and original side dish for your meals, or a refreshing appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 beetroots
  • 4 potatoes ("Bintje" variety is ideal)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of crème fraîche (you can choose full-fat or light)
  • A pinch of nutmeg (for even more flavor)
  • Salt and pepper

While you peel, wash, and cut your vegetables, heat salted water for cooking.

Once tender and soft, your vegetables are ready to be placed in the glass bowl of your Lagrange Blender.

Next

You set the blending time (very simple since the Blender has a preset mode for making purees) and... voila! A little nutmeg, salt, and pepper, and it's ready.

Children will love the pink color and taste of this delicious puree!
