An American variation of the crepe: the pancake
Fluffy and golden brown, pancakes are the star of indulgent breakfasts and friendly snack times. Served with maple syrup, fresh fruits, or a touch of chocolate, they can be customized to your liking for a moment of pure pleasure.
Ingredients
- 40 cl of whole milk
- 2 eggs (preferably large)
- 50 g of butter (melted)
- 75 g of sugar
- 250 g of flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- Maple syrup
Preparation
Unlike crepe batter, pancake batter doesn't need to rest: you can prepare it at the last minute.
To start
To avoid lumps, start by adding the flour and mix it with all ingredients except the egg whites (which need to be beaten until stiff with the pinch of salt).
The "easy" tip? Use your Lagrange Mix Pro for a smooth, lump-free batter.
In a hurry or don't have the necessary equipment to whip the egg whites? Add the egg directly to the batter.
