Choux pastry waffles
Choux pastry waffles, an irresistible fusion of lightness and crunch! With their airy texture and delicate taste, they can be enjoyed plain or with a gourmet topping. A delight in every bite!
Ingredients
- 300g of flour
- 150g unsalted butter, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 500ml of water
- 6 eggs at room temperature
- Optional: pearl sugar
Preparation
1. Put the butter, salt and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
2. Remove from heat, add all the flour at once and stir quickly with a wooden spoon until the dough is smooth and uniform.
3. Return to medium heat for about 5 minutes and continue stirring until the dough becomes silky.
4. Let cool for 3 minutes.
5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well with your wooden spoon after each addition.
6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
7. Optional: just before cooking the waffles, add the pearl sugar and mix well to distribute evenly.
