A new take on profiteroles with a fresh twist! These savory delights, filled with smoked salmon and a light cream, deliver a burst of flavors in every bite. Perfect for an elegant appetizer or original hors d'oeuvre.

Ingredients

For ice cream

  • 6 profiterole choux buns
  • 2 fromage frais
  • 80g and 20g of smoked salmon
  • 1/2 yellow lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of dill
  • Pepper

Preparation

1. Put the fromage frais, 80g of smoked salmon, and lemon juice in the mini blender.

2. Blend until smooth and homogeneous. Add dill and pepper.

3. Cut the tops off the profiteroles. Fill them with the smoked salmon mixture.

4. Cut the remaining smoked salmon into small cubes. Distribute them on the profiteroles then close with the tops.

Tip 1: Be careful not to over-salt the mixture since the smoked salmon will add saltiness.

Tip 2: Profiteroles are small choux pastry puffs that can be enjoyed either savory or sweet (filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce).
