
Garlic Naan
Garlic naan are delicious flatbreads that transport you straight to India, with their soft texture and enticing aroma of fresh garlic. Ingredients
- 500 g all-purpose flour (T55)
- 11 g active dry yeast
- 20 g salt
- 10 g sugar
- 290 ml lukewarm water
- A few sprigs of chopped rosemary
- 3 garlic cloves
- Oil
Preparation
1. Mix the yeast with lukewarm water.
2. In a stand mixer bowl, combine the water and yeast, flour, salt, and sugar.
3. Knead for 5 minutes at speed 1, then 8 minutes at speed 2.
4. Place the dough in a bowl and cover with a kitchen towel. Let rise for 1 hour at room temperature.
5. When the dough has doubled in size, deflate it and divide it into 12 balls.
6. Using a floured rolling pin, roll the balls into small flatbreads.
7. Let the flatbreads rest for 50 minutes between two kitchen towels.
8. Peel and chop the garlic, mix it with rosemary and oil. Set aside.
9. Preheat the LAGRANGE plancha.
10. Place the flatbreads on the hot plancha. Turn them every 30 seconds.
11. When the flatbreads are cooked, brush them with garlic oil.
12. Serve hot.
