
Sweet stuffed waffles
Sweet stuffed waffles are the perfect touch for a moment of shared pleasure. Ingredients
- 500 g of flour
- 4 eggs
- 75 cl of liquid (1/3 water, 1/3 beer, and 1/3 milk)
- 125 g of melted butter
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- Filling: chocolate spread and crushed hazelnuts
Preparation
1. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
2. Beat the 4 egg whites until stiff peaks form.
3. Pour the flour into a bowl. Add the baking powder and mix. Then add the salt and egg yolks. Beat with a whisk.
4. Add the milk, beer, water, and melted butter.
5. Continue beating until the batter is smooth and homogeneous.
6. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites using a spatula.
7. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
8. Pour a thin layer of batter into the waffle maker up to the indicated level.
9. Sweet version: add chocolate spread and crushed hazelnuts
10. Pour a layer of batter to cover the filling.
11. Quickly flip the waffle maker for perfectly formed squares! Cook for 7 minutes once the waffle maker is closed, in crispy mode and at level 3 darkness.
