Ingredients
Dark chocolate waffle batter:
- 250 g of melted butter
- 55 g of pure cocoa powder
- 300 g of sugar
- 4 beaten eggs
- 260 g of flour
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
White chocolate waffle batter:
- 40 g of butter
- 125 g of flour
- 25 g of powdered sugar
- 250 ml of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 100 g of white chocolate
Preparation
Dark chocolate batter:
Mix the melted butter and cocoa.
Add the sugar and eggs, then the flour, milk, and vanilla.
You can also add chocolate chips for even more indulgence!
White chocolate batter:
Beat the eggs together, add the milk and flour with the baking powder, and mix well.
Add the sugar and melted butter.
Grate the white chocolate into the mixture.
Create a checkerboard pattern on your Tarti'Gaufres® plate or simply make a 50/50 waffle (half dark chocolate, half white chocolate, or - easier - both chocolates mixed like in a marbled cake).
Close the waffle iron and when it's ready, serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
