
Savoyard fondue

Ingredients
- 400g Comté cheese
- 400g Beaufort cheese
- 400g Gruyère cheese
- 3dl dry white wine
- 1 glass of kirsch
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 clove of garlic
- pepper and nutmeg
- stale bread cut into large cubes, as needed
Preparation
Rub the inside of the fondue pot with the garlic clove. Cut the cheese into small cubes or grate it. Put it in the fondue pot with the wine and bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Mix the cornstarch with the kirsch, and pour this mixture into the fondue while continuing to stir. The fondue should have a smooth and uniform creamy consistency. Add pepper and nutmeg.
