
The authentic Lyon waffle
The authentic Lyon waffle, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Enjoy this Lyon cuisine classic, slightly sweetened and perfect for a gourmet break. An essential treat that warms both heart and taste buds!
Ingredients
- 500 g of flour
- 4 eggs
- 75 cl of liquid (1/3 water, 1/3 beer and 1/3 milk)
- 125 g of melted butter
- 30 g of sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- Vanilla, Kirsch or Rum flavoring

To begin
1. Melt the butter and let it cool down.
2. Pour the flour into a mixing bowl. Add salt, sugar and eggs.
3. Beat with a whisk.
Then
In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in the liquid. Add this mixture to the bowl along with the melted butter.
4. Add flavoring according to your taste.
5. Continue beating until the batter is smooth and uniform.
6. Let rest for 30 minutes. Simple and effective!
Finally
7. All that's left is to pour the batter into your LAGRANGE waffle maker!
8. And quickly flip the appliance for perfectly shaped squares!
