Ingredients

SWEETENED YOGURTS
- 1.5 liters of milk
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 packet of yogurt starter
FRESH FRUIT YOGURTS
- 1.5 liters of milk
- 1 large cup of chopped fresh fruit
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 packet of yogurt starter
JAM YOGURTS
- 1.5 liters of milk
- 6 tablespoons of jam or fruit jelly
- 1 packet of yogurt starter
Preparation
SWEETENED YOGURT
- Add the sugar at the same time as the milk and yogurt starter, and beat well until the sugar is dissolved.
- For optimal results, add the milk gradually until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
FRESH FRUIT YOGURTS
- Mix the milk and yogurt starter until the consistency is homogeneous.
- Add the chopped fruits while mixing.
- Divide the mixture among the 9 jars.
JAM YOGURTS
- Gently heat the jam or jelly over very low heat.
- Add the milk gradually, then add the yogurt starter.
- Beat well until the consistency is homogeneous. Let it cool slightly, then divide the mixture among the 9 jars.
- If you're using a thin jam, you can mix it directly with the milk without heating it beforehand.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Allow 8 to 10 hours for whole milk yogurts, 9 to 11 hours for semi-skimmed milk yogurts, and 12 to 14 hours for skimmed milk yogurts.
