Polenta waffles, soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside! An original twist for a tasty, light dish. Perfect with bacon bits, sun-dried tomatoes or grated cheese. Who's ready to fall for this delicious recipe?

Ingredients

  • 160g of polenta
  • 280g of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 50cl of milk
  • 80g of butter
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Option to add bacon bits, sun-dried tomatoes or grated cheese to the batter

Preparation

1. Bring the mixture of water, milk and a pinch of salt to a boil.

2. Gradually pour in the polenta and cook according to package instructions. Keep stirring with a whisk throughout the cooking process. When the polenta starts to pull away from the sides of the pan, remove from heat, add the butter and stir until it's melted.

3. In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder, then add the polenta and eggs. Mix well until you get a smooth texture.

4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
