
Two-colored orange and cocoa crepes
These two-colored orange and cocoa crepes add a touch of whimsy to your snacks and desserts! The combination of cocoa and orange creates a perfect marriage between sweetness and acidity, for crepes that are as beautiful as they are tasty. They can be enjoyed plain or filled with jam, spread, or even orange zest to intensify the flavors. Both young and old will love this gourmet and vitamin-rich version!
Ingredients
- 20 g butter
- 480 g semi-skimmed milk
- 250 g flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 pinches of salt
- 30 g blonde beer
- Zest of one untreated orange
- 50 g dark cocoa powder
Preparation
1. Melt the butter and zest the orange in a bowl.
2. In a bowl, put the flour and salt. Make a well and pour in the beer, eggs, and part of the milk.
3. Stir vigorously and gradually mix with milk. Finally, add butter and divide the batter in two.
4. Add and mix orange zest in one half and cocoa in the other.
5. Cover and let rest for 1 hour.
6. Preheat your Lagrange crepe maker and lightly butter it.
7. Put the cocoa batter in a squeeze bottle and make a swirl with the cocoa crepe batter, let it cook slightly and add the orange batter to cover the swirl.
8. Cook your crepe on both sides and repeat until all batter is used.
9. Enjoy!
