
Waffle Burgers

Ingredients

- 500 g (4 cups) of flour
- 1 packet of baking powder, 250 ml (1 cup) of water
- 250 ml (1 cup) of beer
- 250 ml (1 cup) of milk
- 1 large pinch of salt
- 125 g (1/2 cup) of butter
- 4 eggs
- 300 g (10.5 oz) of ground beef
- 1 red onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 6 thin slices of smoked bacon
- 6 slices of blue cheese
- A handful of arugula sprouts
Preparation
Melt the butter and let it cool.
Pour the flour into a bowl. Add the salt and eggs. Beat with a whisk. In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in the liquid. Add this mixture to the bowl along with the melted butter. Continue beating until the batter is smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes, then pour the necessary amount of batter into your waffle maker.
Remember to quickly turn the waffle maker on its axis for well-formed waffles.
Shape 6 patties of 50g each and cook them in a pan.
Assemble your 6 waffle burgers by layering tomatoes, red onions, arugula leaves, beef patties, blue cheese, and smoked bacon.
